In this interview with Bridgette Revell, Ashlynn Brooke discusses her desire for a contract from day one, getting recognized in the airport and her desire to be the 'Brett Favre of porn'.

Bridgette: I heard that you were fascinated with porn at a very young age. You started nude modeling that eventually led to parts in pro-am type porn. What attracted you to porn that you wanted to get into it at such a young age?

Ashlynn Brooke: Growing up I lived with my grandparents. We had a DirecTV satellite system and we had one of those illegal chips that you could watch all the movies and all the channels no matter what. One day I was flipping through the channels and I came across the Playboy channel. It happened to be one of the first Debbie Does Dallas movies and it was one of the older ones. I watched it differently. I didn't watch it like it was supposed to turn me on, although it did, but I watched it critically. I thought if I was that girl I would do this or if I was that girl I would do that. I watched more from a business standpoint. When you see something you like and you know that you like it, you just know that is what you want to do.

Bridgette: Having that much of an interest in porn and sexual situations, were you a little more sexually adventurous growing up?

Ashlynn Brooke: Kind of, yeah. I wasn't really a slut or anything but I was very open with my sexuality. If I had a relationship with a guy or whatever I was very open and I liked to try new things. I started having sex a very young age. I started having sex after I just turned 14. It was something I didn't want to wait for. I knew that I wanted to go ahead and get into it. 

Bridgette: So how did you make the leap from being your everyday, average girl living in Oklahoma to becoming a porn star to the point you are now the newest contract girl for New Sensations?

Ashlynn Brooke: There are some friends of mine in Oklahoma that started an agency doing photography. They came to my house one night and it turned out to be my very first nude photo shoot ever. I just felt like I was in the right place doing the nude photography. From there I flew to California that following February to do a photo shoot for Easy Rider Magazine and Gallery Magazine. During that trip and in talking to people and telling them that this is what I would like to do, they told me that nude modeling is okay but if I really wanted to make my mark, nude modeling can only take you so far. I am always looking to better myself and take that next step up. I thought about it for a while and I got on the internet one day and I found my agency out of Florida. I contacted them and about two weeks later I was in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. I got very lucky that I met a great agent and he helped me through and the rest is history. I went down there only planning on doing girl/girl scenes and I was only going to do this and I was only going to do that. I realized that I finally have the chance to step out and do whatever I wanted to do so I might as well take that chance. I am really glad that I did.

Bridgette: You said you can go only so far doing nude modeling. With that in mind, making the jump from nude stills to full fledged hardcore porn is quite a leap. Were you a bit nervous about making that jump seeing how once you start doing hardcore porn it is hard to turn back the hands of time if you don't like it?

Ashlynn Brooke: You are exactly right. I had a great agent and great friends when I was making that transition. When I decided to make that leap I was VERY nervous. I was wondering, 'what are people going to think? What is going to happen?'. That lasted about five minutes (laughs) and I finally snapped to my senses. I am not the type person that cares all too much about what people think of me. If I am doing what I want to do, either they are going to like me or they are not. I was nervous. Very, very nervous. My first scene went very, very well. I then realized that I am now what I wanted to be when I was watching this stuff on TV. The nerves then calmed but I was nervous at first.

Bridgette: In today's day and age, it is rare for a girl's first sex scene in porn to end up on DVD. More than likely it ended up on a website. Do you know where that scene ended up and who did you work with?

Ashlynn Brooke: It did end up on the internet for an amateur site for Bang Bros. It was for Big Mouthfuls which is a swallowing site. That was very weird because typically girls do not do their first porn scenes as a swallowing scene. I really like the company and they were very cool. It was shot originally for the internet site but I think they have since released it on DVD. (Big Mouthfuls #12)

Bridgette: So from that experience did you move from Oklahoma to Florida because that was where your agency was located and a lot of the work was being done?

Ashlynn Brooke: I did. I did about two or three scenes before I returned home. I was home for about three days and I decided that I really couldn't  do anything from here. So I moved back and I would come back here and visit for the holidays but I lived in Miami for seven months.

Bridgette: Have you relocated to Southern California yet or is that in the works?

Ashlynn Brooke: Not yet. It is still in the works and I am not quite sure when that is going to happen. I am sure it will happen pretty soon.

Bridgette: Coming from Oklahoma, moving to Florida and visiting California to work on adult DVDs, was that a bit of culture shock for you? I grew up in Southern California but lived in Oklahoma for over fours years. It was a major change for me to go from here to there. How was it for you to go from Oklahoma to a faster paced lifestyle and atmosphere like Miami or California?

Ashlynn Brooke: Oklahoma is just so calm and slow and patient. It is very small town. You have to drive at least 45 minutes to get to the nearest big city. Everything elsewhere is cramped and so busy that it was kind of overwhelming. As far as the culture, it was not that big of a shock. I am a pretty open minded person and I love learning about new things and meeting new people. I will say that the places are very  different.

When I arrived at the studio, the producer told me that I can do whatever I feel like doing on cam and they will take it from there. I love having the freedom to do whatever comes to mind! As we were setting up for the shoot, I noticed that they had a shower that wasn’t just a prop, it actually worked! When I saw that, the ideas just kept flowing! As the cameraman snapped pictures and the videographer recorded my every move, I did a sexy striptease, playing with bubbles and soapy water. I loved the feeling of the water dripping off of my perky tits as the bubbles slid around on my smooth soft skin. I could see that everyone on set was getting quite turned on and this made me extremely horny and quite wet. As a testament to the profitability and cache that Club Jenna possesses, Playboy Enterprises recently purchased the company in 2006, turbo charging Club Jenna's production and promotion engines with the power of the bunny.

Jameson has long been courted by the mainstream entertainment industry. She has been an international correspondent for the E! Channel with their show Wild On, shared screen time with Howard Stern in 1997's Private Parts, offered up witty commentary for VH1 specials and turned up in bed with rap star Eminem in his MTV video for his hit single, Without Me. Bridgette: What's going on with your company, Club Jenna?

Jenna Jameson: My company is on a consistent growing spree. Since we sold to Playboy last year, we've grown so much. We went from one release every couple of months to six releases a month, which is a huge amount of work. It's just really exciting because it feels like we're on top of our game now. We're, like, the number one company in the adult industry.

Bridgette: Are you now bigger than Vivid Video and Wicked Pictures?

Jenna Jameson: We're right on par. For me, I grew up in the adult industry, so I looked at people like Steve Hirsh, who runs Vivid and owns Vivid, as a role model when it comes to running a business. I just applied all of his business model and it really seems to have worked. Now we're in contention for the number one spot.

Bridgette: Are you his competition now?

Jenna Jameson: (Laughs) Of course! I think everybody feels competition with my company, because we turn out the very best movies. Every year we're up for best film, best video. We just released Janine Loves Jenna, which is pretty much the biggest movie ever shot in the adult industry.

Bridgette: How much did that cost you to make?

Jenna Jameson: Oh, it's a huge amount of money! I can't talk specific numbers, but it's been a year and a half in the making.

Bridgette: Why are you calling this a crossover movie?

Jenna Jameson: Well, I think that we applied mainstream techniques to this movie. There's a huge amount of acting, it's an amazing script, there's insane special effects! We're trying to set a new pace for everyone in the adult industry. It's not just about turning out twenty-thousand dollar movies anymore and just turning profit. It's about putting out good product.

Bridgette: I saw a few little clips of Janine Loves Jenna online and it looked like you guys were flying and hanging from a trapeze... what is this about?

Jenna Jameson: The story is about me, and I have a very best friend and she dies in a car accident. I end up committing suicide and going through, like, this subterranean hell, and all the different things I experience while trying to find my friend again. We set the whole movie pretty much on water, so we had all these elaborate sets built in a foot of water. It was insane! We really undertook a major, major project. The sets, the stars in it, the acting, the sex… everything was far beyond anything I've ever done or seen in the industry.

Bridgette: I wanted someone to send me a copy of it ahead of time, before I spoke to you… you know, just for research purposes (laughs)…

Jenna Jameson: (Laughs) Oh, of course, of course. Hahaha! I love it!

Bridgette: Well you look at it and it looks like such high production. It's funny because when I was first going to do the interview with you, I wanted to watch some of your work. I rented one of your movies and I'm sitting there with my boyfriend and we're watching it. There was a lot of acting in it and we got so caught up in the story, that we were fast forwarding through the sex scenes (laughs). I think it was Jenna's Revenge.

Jenna Jameson: (Laughs) Ah, Jenna's Revenge. Isn't that funny?

Bridgette: It was so funny! We're like, all into the story, and every time there'd be a sex scene, we were like, Ugh!, and we'd fast forward through it (laughs).

Jenna Jameson: That is so funny. You know, it's true. That was actually an earlier movie in my career, but, my entire career has been based upon not just being a sex star. It's about being a well rounded star, not just being good at sex. I always took pride in being a good actress and trying to push myself and push my boundaries, because I knew that sooner or later I would be doing mainstream films and I could apply all of that to mainstream movies. It ended up working out in my favor, so thank god I decided to take on those big acting roles when I was nineteen years old and had no idea what the hell I was doing (laughs)… absolutely no idea, no acting classes, no nothing. For me, my acting came from trial and error.

Bridgette: I'll tell you something, you're interesting to watch on film. It makes me wonder… when you were younger, did you ever think about just going for a mainstream career, before you decided to go into adult movies?

Jenna Jameson: No, not really. Acting was never something that I felt was on my horizon. I wanted to be a model. I wanted to be a Playboy centerfold. That was the ultimate to me. I used to steal my father's Playboy magazines and practice the poses. My father was horrified! He caught me stealing his Playboys! I was just so infatuated with the women in these magazines. I always felt so incredibly comfortable with being nude and my sexuality. That's what I aspired to be, was a model. It's been really easy for me to transition into the mainstream, and I don't really know how. It ended up just kind of falling in my lap. I aspired to be the number one porn star. I never aspired to be a mainstream star, and it just kind of happened. I'm scheduled for two mainstream movies this year and I'm just kind of like, "Holy Shit!"

I want to thank Jenna my dear friend for allowing me to give you a sneak peak into her private life. She made no special requests and only asked that I be fair and truthful. I have know Jennifer for a long time and we’ve killed a lot of Vodka together and smoked enough cigarettes that at least we will die of lung cancer together.

Bree Olson: I think it is because I do great scenes. I'd like to say that it is my looks. I think I am a pretty cute girl. When I get on set I like to get great reactions from people. By the time I am done I want people to say, 'wow! That was a great scene'. That's always my goal every time I get on the set. I love to blow people away.

Bridgette: What do you do in particular in order to get that kind of a reaction?

Bree Olson: I am not sure. I use a lot of energy. I already love sex. It's not like I have to act like I like it. I'm a really dirty talker. I'm just a nasty girl. (laughs) I don't know how else to put it. I have a nasty mind. This is the perfect business for me. I didn't realize that other girls weren't into it as much I am. When I was told that there are girls in porn that actually do not like sex I was blown away by that. I could not imagine doing this if I did not like it. I absolutely love it.

Bridgette: Was enjoying having sex as much as you do the main attraction to getting into adult DVDs?

Bree Olson: I've always wanted to do porn ever since I was younger. As young as I can remember there were always those things on HBO where they would show the behind the scenes stuff with porn girls. They always seemed to be happy and excited. I thought to myself that I could totally do that. I would have gotten into porn as soon as I turned 18 but I was in a serious relationship. I had a girlfriend for four years. As soon as we broke up when I was 19 and a half I saw this as my opportunity to get into it. As soon as that happened I came into porn.

Bridgette: You mentioned that the main reason you did not get into porn sooner was because you had a four year relationship with a girlfriend. But you also do boy/girl scenes and have had relationships with men outside of porn as well. So what is the deal? Are you bisexual and do you have a preference for men or women?

Bree Olson: Since breaking up with my girlfriend, I am just done with relationships with women. I am 99 percent sure I will not be with a woman again. I like having sex with women, of course. Sexually I am open to just about anything. As far as dating women, no, no more. What always bothered me when I was with my girlfriend was I am not going to be married in the Catholic Church like I have always wanted to. I won't have a husband and kids and it kind of bothered me that I wasn't going to have all that.

Bridgette: You make no bones about that you speak freely of yourself. You even go as far as to blog on the internet about your sexual turn-ons and turn-offs. Explain to me why you enjoy sex to be so rough to the point where you enjoy pillows shoved over your face, choked, your hair pulled or called names. You have even said that you like to think of yourself as 'a hole there to please a man'. Care to elaborate on that?

Bree Olson: I have always been like that even when I was little. I used to look at my mom and dad and my mom would boss my dad around. I would ask myself, 'dude, why doesn't my dad grow some balls?' I would watch movies and I would always have that persona. This is so funny. When I was a little girl, I didn't realize you could have sex if you weren't married. When I was little I couldn't wait until I was married just so I could have sex and please my husband. I have been to counseling and my counselors have said, 'something must have happened to you as a child.' Actually, no, nothing happened to me. That's just the way I think. Some people may think that my views are out there but I just consider those people to be old fashioned and stuck in their ways. It's just my opinion and that's the way I think things should be. If you look at it, when the whole feminist movement started I think the United States started to get a bit out of control. I think that when it was more traditional with women at home and the men go out and earn the money and the wives stay home and take care of the kids everything was more under control and happy and wholesome back in those days. I would just like to continue the happiness.

Bridgette: Favorite position?

Bree Olson: Doggy. I like it because it is a very submissive position and I am a very submissive person.
